I just spoke with Mario on the phone (regarding BB shell thread gone, not the paint) and he told me that the bubbles are actually due to the decals being not original but from L Loyds and that he can't do anything about them as they appear during the heating process.
I am still happy about his work and will bring him any future frame I'd like to have re painted.
