Don't think that's a bad thing to be honest, it also mean the pro can go a size smaller for a good race fit (Paris Roubaix show this, and Mark Cavendish's sized down Tarmac).
Make so much more sense in production without having to have two run of frame like the BMC Impec, only a few manufacturer made one-off frame like Cannondale did to Sagan (massive reach and tiny stack for the uh-may fit).
