I remember once as a kid when a large flying beetle (bit like a stag beetle) flew in through the window of my parents bedroom with an abdomen covered in juveniles and my stepmother freaked and swatted at it spraying baby beetles all over the bedclothes. She wouldn't sleep in that room for weeks afterwards in case they were still lurking :-D
