  • I am currently gauging interest for selling the above.

This is an original bike that has been lying at work as I have not managed to get out on it. Its supposed to be my pub, shop, kiddie bike but lack of space means that I cant keep it at home and don't want to leave it out in the elements.

Its got new tires and a new cable for the 3 speed hub (that needs to be fitted) and runs well. Its also got the original dynamo hub and lights.

The bike is at Kings Cross, and have to be collected from there.

Looking for around £100 for it.

  • Any pics? Size?

  • Silly me, its a large. I can do pics on Friday as the bike is at work and I am off for a few days. If you are near KX you are welcome to come and view on Friday.

  • Potentially interested pics pending

  • trying the pics, got 1 of 3, if you need more please pm me.

    cheers

  • I would like to fund a new bike, so this really needs to go. Bump up for the post easter crowd

  • That is quite classy bike.
Shame I've got no space either, but for £100 would have served well as spare bike for when you've got visitors to ride around or lovely pub bike.

  • The issue I am having is that I can probably get away with one more bike. This one has been hiding at work. After unsuccessfully trying to fit mudguards to the Ciocc, I know I cant use it in winter (it will also kill the chrome on it).

I dont particularly enjoying commuting on the mtb (its 34 miles round trip) and really want a winter bike with guards. Also this will go a long way to helping pay for it.

Its a bummer as this was supposed to be my bike with the kids but I will have to use the mtb for this.

Either way, I am going to pay twice over to pacify her indoors when another bike appear.s

  • Look at this, I think it's the Chiltern there, right?

  • How about £85 - its got 2 new tires and the orginals and just needs a chain cable fitted of which I already have the cable.

I really need to get a winter bike sorted out.

Similar to the ad except mine has the front light on the front fork

  • I'm interested, need a cheap run-around. You say large, I'm 6'3, do you think that would be a good fit?

  • I am probably underselling this. The frame has no dings and has hardly been used in the wet, so is quite clean. There are no deep scratches but will check again today.

    It really is lovely.

  • Could you put more pictures?

What does "large" mean in this case? A friend is looking for a nice bike and this could be it, but probably too big

  • Its a 23 inch frame but will recheck when I get in the office

  • Ok I'll dibs it! PM coming.
