I think if you start worrying about that you could end up a breatherian. I'm pretty sure some of the cucurbit family do something similar and kill nematodes. (I tried google and it was no help so might be wrong).
There was a report of tomatoes and potatoes (some varieties) acting as carniverous plants as well. The hairs you see on both species are able to catch insects which are then eaten (some how). Most don't tend to as they get sufficient food from other sources.
You could then think about it logically and consider how all your food is made (even if you eat organic there will be insects etc being killed). If you eat cereals most have regulated parts per million insect (and probably small mamal) content.
Then there is the damage to other animal life when this stuff is transported to your door. Squished badger, crushed insects etc.
I'm not suggesting we don't think about this but for your own sanity I'd suggest a cut of point somewhere above nematodes.
