What I see is that there's a surge in people buying new bikes (I think I read during last years many new people are on the road cycling), probably thanks to the Cycle2Work scheme and less people getting 'vintage' or used ones.
Where I work there's a company that struck a deal with the estate agents handling the whole of the business park so that they can come locally in the plaza and fix commuters bikes. I tried to book a full service for the Gazelle. Turns out they had an overwhelming demand and actually planning to schedule another event next week instead of next month.
Clearly as spring is in full swing more people want to go on their bike, but still, fewer people are getting bargains here on the forums.
Sorry for taking over your post with my rant though :) I'll shut up.
