^some toroidal shape does appear in the picture of the gloss finish, but the brake surface should make for a meh experience in the wet.

Got the jersey too now, so I can do a full review:
(all items from April International on aliexpress - no affiliations)
Bibs seem really decent. The fit is really nice. The chamois was actually painful for the first mile or so but softened up pretty nicely, pretty fast and turned out to be pretty comfy overall. Compared to the knock off Castelli bibs I got, they are a bit of an upgrade, but at a significantly higher price. I would probably just buy the Castelli bibs to be honest.
Jersey. Really well made, decent material choices including nice thin panels under the arm to let the heat escape. The zip was total crap, mind and the sizing was all wrong. I got a Medium and it could easily suit someone who is XL. It is a knock-off version of the Supercross jersey from last year, and unfortunately - you can tell. Overall, would buy the good Castelli again that I listed above somewhere - better price and better quality overall.
Further, all the stuff took ages to come - almost two months in total. In future I will probably steer away from chinese knock off clothing.
just my 2p.
Update. My fake rapha bibs are the best bibs I've ridden (limited experience). The jersey is utter shit.

Considering ordering some 88mm clincher rims/wheelset for the end of the month. Spoken to a few crabon people via email and they are willing to give a small discount on postage/price if its through paypal, not ebay. If anyone is interested going halves on postage/customs then let me know via pm.

Question people, about customs from America but i thought here would be the best place for it, and according to usps tracking it has "cleared customs in United Kingdom at 5:25am" does that mean I've dodged imports?
-
• #2840
Not necessarily - a customs bill may follow.

Just had a first look at Farsports rims

Interesting, that's definitely an older rim - all of the ones I've had over the past couple of years have had (when asked for) the basalt brake track.

What are you looking to get?
-
• #2848
88mm clincher rim/rear wheel
-
• #2849
Might be tempted by a 60mm front and 88mm rear. Basalt brake tracks on both, novatec hubs. Any idea how much they'd be?

Splendid. Basically I want 88mm clinchers for my PX build. Not sure if I should get rims and build it up or complete wheels. These look pretty decent and if I go by what everyone is saying then they have a good reputation. Pretty cheap too!
Although this is presumably where testr comes and points out that they are probably not actually all that aero as rims ...
