Mate works at a scrap yard and I noticed an old racer with a holdsworth badge, looks like it's been brush painted in white emulsion and left to die in a garden for years, total mess. Components look fairly crap, huret mech, ancient brooks saddle, steel rims. I stupidly didn't take any pics, but where the white paint has chipped off I noticed it was gold/orange underneath, so a quick google for a "gold holdsworth" came up with this which is very similar. Couldn't see any reynolds stickers under the white paint, oh and it's a tinnnyyy frame, likely a 46 or something.
Here's the question, is it worth saving? Or is it a low end gas pipe bike? The stem is exactly the same as the one in the pic which looked fairly low end to me...
