It may be many things, but I don't think many people on this thread appreciate it, so i wouldn't see it as much of a service.
Anyway, it's just a throw away comment. It doesn't need paragraphs of discussions. Yes, it might be over in 10 minutes. Or a huge supervolcano may destroy mankind this week, making football rather irrelevant. Or lots of scenarios in between those which make those 90 minutes less tense.
