had the fm7 really nice tuner
am almost tempted by the duo / pair would make a cracking start to a system
are they decent condition and sounding ok ?
price ? -

Was blown away by the fm7, didn't know radio could sound so good. Just a shame it doesn't fit in with my 70's silver faced gear. Both sound amazing, even have a pair of small Gale speakers that would suit the amp nicely. A few tiny tiny tiny marks to the cases of both the amp and tuner but nothing at all serious. 180 for the pair, which if you go by ebay prices, is a bargain.

Selling the Pioneer?
-
• #8
The right offer would get it, but i'm in no rush to sell because it's such a lovely piece of kit!
Also, the technics and the eq have now sold.

I have no idea of it's value I'm afraid, but it looks great... my current one is a bit crackly when you turn the dials...
The A60 is tempting... -
• #10
What amp do you have at the moment? The crackling is easy enough to sort out.
A60 is an early one with din inputs and outputs
-
• #11
It's one that looks very much like the Pioneer... maybe a lower end model? Crackles when everything is in default setting...
-
• #12
Could you check the model number for me? If it's a 70's piece i'd defo be interested in a px with the a60....
-
• #13
I think its a 550... would of been interested in the A60 but the connections on the back rule it out... damn it.

picked up the cyrus fm7 yesterday back home installed and sounding crystal clear
really nice tuner and the dials are nice and intuitivethis means the amp ( cyrus one ) is still available
i had a listen yesterday amp and tuner together and they sounded lovely the amp was in great nick and i'd recommend it to anyone looking for an amp or an upgrade
i didn't buy the amp only because i already have a ONE already and it was advertised as a TWO, dazaa also advised me on how to clean up a dodgy connection on my curret amp so all round a successful daybargin and dazaa is a nice guy

^^^ awesomeness.
Have decided to let the pioneer and the marantz receivers go, would be 120 each.
Still have the cyrus one amp, AR60 amp, mission cd player and arcam alpha cd player.
I need to thin down the hifi collection as I have too much stuff lying unused that deserves to be enjoyed. This Technics is an absolute monster, is weighs a ton, the power transformer is enormous and the middle three knobs are metal, not plastic! I have cleaned all of the potentiometers with servisol 10 so there are absolutely no crackles or pops, it's working exactly as it did when new. Rated at 80wpc (highly conservative in my opinion) it sounds exceptional. Cosmetically it's very good, a few marks on the case but nothing at all noticeable, and the "new class A" badge still lights up. I'm looking for 110 pounds, collection from Stratford E15. I also have a matching/very similar Technics equalizer I can include for 20 pounds.
I also have the following bits I'd like to sell but probably won't get round to listing so if you are interested in anything let me know.
Mission Cyrus 2 amplifier
Cyrus FM7 tuner
Mission PCM7000 cd player (Looking for around 250 for this stack)
Arcam A6 cd player 60 quid (Just had a new tray gear fitted)
Studiomaster Diamond Pro 12-3 mixer 150 (super cool 90's mixer)
Cambridge Audio Sonata CD30 cd player 70
AR/Arcam A60 70
