Don't let JWestland set that last one! :)

The red and white's OK.
That on a black frame could be nice.

Should be fadez

The proper expander plugs are good.

Shame about the fat strip of black insulating tape. I always use a half-width of cloth tape, so much nicer.

That's a good tip! Going to steal that.

It's a fucker to cut neatly. I've come up with: unpeel a length, stick it to clean wax paper, cut with scissors/scalpel, then unpeel to stick on.

how do you keep it from fraying?

Trim off any fluff, the glue seems to hold it together.

Too late... ;)

On that note: Has anybody ever seen/done 3 colour non-harlequin bar wraps? Like the above link, using 3 rolls of tape?
My Gazelle has 3 stripes, but I can't find blue/red/green wrap. I can get 3 rolls and cut it up, but that may be Fugly* or maybe it's going to be anti no matter what, and I should save my £££
*technical term

Freshly wrapped Cinelli Caleido tape, only drawback is the sheer whiteness makes my old white saddle look very grubby indeed

Got this tape on my bars (bought as I combo of stem, bars and tape). Apparently it's some rare Italian (?) tape which is hard to find.
It's true, that it's one of the best tapes I tried. Spongy, grippy and really good looking.
The feel of it is awesome (perv).Anybody know what tape is it?
Thank you.
Edit: Material is really rubbery...

not the best finish, but love how the dots line up

Finishing tape pulling away. 3/10 would not bang ;)

To me it looks like the BikeRibbon Grip evo stuff we sell in the shop:
http://www.bikeribbon.com/ProductDescription.php?CatTot=&CatId=1&Pro=GRIP%20EVO&Category=bar%20tape&RecId=66looks good at first and the feel is nice, but It wears out really fast, imo a cheap knock off from Lizard Skins

It's bad form to post your own bike around here, isn't it?
Oh well - here's my McBain Record with harlequin bar wrap. User Verbs & Nouns posted a close up a few pages back, but I finally decided to sign up.
Took ages, do love it. Since then it has been shellac'd and now has a nice weathered patina to match the frame. :D

More photos! Looks good. Fine to post your own bike in here, its just the bike porn thread that's all sorts of shitty about it.
