Have you tried adjusting the toe-in? That is just adjusting the angle of the brake pads themselves?
There might be a problem with the callipers themselves, but this might be an easy fix.

Yeah the left is too toes in and the right is the opposite, this is with quite a bit of adjustment already.

check the bolt that connects them to the frame for a bend and try tightening it.

if the toe of one pad and the heel of the other are contacting the rim, have you looked at parallel trueness of the brake caliper mounting hole?

I don't suppose it's an older frame, that's had the back of the fork drilled?
Hi, I've looked around for this kind of problem, but cannot find the right type of problem....
If the wheel is a straight line, the brakes seem to be misaligned with the front of the left pad and the back of the right pad coming into contact with the rim. It is as if the whole brake is off.
Could anybody help me fix this? Thanks
