Hello,
I have finally decided to release my old mtb after years of being locked up in my parents shed unused. It is a 2002 Cove Handjob XC (you'll have to excuse the name). I've had this from new, but have hardly touched it in the past 5 years. I upgraded quite a lot of the parts in 2009, new wheels and full XT drivetrain, which are still nearly as new. Spec as follows:
17.5" frame Columbus Nivacrom tubing
Marzocchi MXC 100mm forks with ECC lockout
FSA XLII headset (new bearings fitted)
XT drivetrain except for Raceface Prodigy crankset (upgraded chainrings)
Avid V-brakes
Raceface finishing kit - bars, stem and seatpost
Flite saddle
Wheels: XT hubs with DT Swiss rims
Panaracer Razor 2.1 tyres
Crank brothers pedals
I can also include:
Fork pump and manual
Camelbak
Northwave shoes with cleats (size 45)
The bike is in Devon, but I might be able to arrange for it to come to London (where I am) if there was sufficient demand.
One bad point is a small dent midway along the top tube. Cosmetically it doesn't look very nice but structurally it is fine. Most of all the other bits are near perfect as they have seen little use. I'm afraid I removed the Handjob decal, but you can get hold of them if you don't mind displaying it's name. Might help hide the dent also...
