So, thoughts on a (South West? Surrey?) regular pub meet in Kingston upon Thames? Could call it Tues or Wed as to not step on West's or South's toes? The reason for me, I cant get out before 8:30pm so makes Hammersmith Wests and Clapham Souths not worth the travel.
or am I about to get beef for being outside the holy A205 boundy?

Indeed, tiny little village.
That venue fell through in the end, although the Portland is now bigger and better!

Floating this back up, seen a few more fixed/SS about lately. Uni students bringing their bikes out in the better weather?

Saying that, there are several decent west-facing pubs to the north and south of it. Would definitely be up for maybe weds or thursday drinks now and then.

This is not about bigging up an area, but just trying to establish a group of riders. West drinks appear to average an attendance of 1 lately, all the other weekly meets are too far to travel just to pop out for a pint. I might have the social life of a father of two, but if something was organised atleast there would be a chance of me popping out for an hour, instead of treking across london.

I think in the past 6 years all I've managed is the fighting cocks when a mate's band has been in town so I'd have no idea where to suggest.

Ah, I no longer go through there due to it's being illegal to ride through the high street.
I dont know how much call there is for this on here, but I've put up a group for those a bit more south than "South" and around the KT area. Get involved if you're down this way!
