plus, shame for the lo pro.. glws!I haven't ridden the SystemSix for about a year, did have it advertised before but wasn't in any rush for the money. My nice bike is now a SuperSix

I know I know, and now it's TT season too. I really thought this was a keeper.

How tall are you, Jambon? Been looking at Cannondales recently and have seen that the 58cm frame is flagged as best for someone 6ft tall (like me), but then the staff at Evans said I should look at a 56.... this is in CAAD 10 and SuperSix, so I guess it may be different for a SystemSix.
Cheers

Hi Bezzin, I'm 6ft1" (185cm) and currently ride a 56cm SuperSix, before that I rode this 56cm SystemSix no problem. I'm not sure about the CAAD10, but the SystemSix and SuperSix geometry is the same. If you have any further questions just let me know.

Bezzin, you should absolutely be riding a 56, I am also 6' tall, I used to ride a 58 CAAD7 and ended up with all sorts of problems, had a 56 SystemSix, fitted like a glove, now as with Jambon have a 56 SuperSix (and a 56 CAAD7) and they are perfect fit. Absolutely awesome race bike, don't buy it if you want extreme comfort, do buy it want to go as fast as Fcuk !!! One of the best crit bikes ever built !!! GLWS Jambon

I've said it before, but I personally think the SystemSix is more special frame, although these days I've caught the weenie bug. If I saw a 56 SystemSix Team Si I'd be seriously tempted.

Thanks guys - yeah I saw a 58 super six in the flesh today and it was clearly too big!

Cannondale now sold
After a recent purchase I need to clear a couple of bits to free up some cash. Hopefully my loss is your gain...
SystemSix Frame
These are great frames as you probably know and very very stiff, would make an ideal crit bike. It's a 56 and takes a BB30 bottom bracket.
Included in the sale is: Frame, fork, headset, BB30 bearings (200 miles max), seat clamp, gear hanger, bottle bolts, and bb cable guide.
Total weight of the below is 1.75kg with 45mm of steerer exposed.

It is probably worth stating this is a common thing on SystemSix frames that are painted, the joint between the carbon and aluminium can become visible and it in no way affects the frame structurally.

Mystery Lo Pro
With a heavy heart this must go too. A lot more detailed info can be found in the project thread: http://www.lfgss.com/thread108492.html. Essentially it's a crazy 24"/600c English lo pro with some really nice features. It was refurbished by the talented Matthew at Saffron Frameworks. The non drive seat stay has a few small chips from when the cat knocked the bike over (still haven't forgiven him), but other than that it's mint. Do feel free to give this the thrashing it deserves although it's not quite ready to ride. What needs to be done:
/ glue tubs
/ tape bars
/ correct length cable outers
/ Tri bars need shims

Serious PM's are of a higher currency than dibs I'm afraid. Any questions feel free to ask.
