I find it annoying when people call a ride 'harsh' & 'uncomfortable'.

I used to ride a Look 464 on the road (then a PX just like this one) and I remember popping into Condor where a sale assistant was saying out loud 'the 464 is sooo harsh on the road, who would ride that?'. It was a great, stiff ride.

Are we all supposed to ride a fully suspended MTB / touring bike / with wide tyres for maximum comfort??

You would be the first one to take the piss if he was building a Dutchie bike with Ultegra 6800 11sp! 'It's too comfortable'

People have always moaning about track frames being too harsh for riding on the road but it's usually because they haven't and don't ride one daily. If you commute and ride a track bike around the harshness becomes normal, in fact it feels strange when you ride something and you can't feel what the road is doing beneath you. It's about what you get used to and enjoy, hence me getting a custom road bike build with pretty much track geometry and as stiff as possible.
