  • my front wheel costs more than my frame lol

  • But looks good and should offer some aero benefit

  • Exactly, it's well rad!

  • ...might even be more durable than IO, with the extra 450grams of carbon&resin the N5 carries compared to IO.

  • Managed to get a rear wheel off chickenleaverpuller today, was tempted to order one of ebay but paid a premium so i can get this ready within the next week rather than wait 3 weeks.

just need a headset and stem now.

  • #stealth.

    Gonna be a fun ride!

  • Sweeeet!

  • This set up would look awesome with the Zipp 'Replica' cockpit for sale here:

  • Already on it ;)

  • Everything is turning out beautiful in this build.

cheers bro glad you appreciate it.

Gonna be a harsh, incredibly uncomfortable ride

    Ftfy

  • Bloody hell, it's not like he's planning on doing Paris-Roubaix. I'm sure anyone who orders a stiff track frame knows what they're up against.

  • ^^
I find it annoying when people call a ride 'harsh' & 'uncomfortable'.

I used to ride a Look 464 on the road (then a PX just like this one) and I remember popping into Condor where a sale assistant was saying out loud 'the 464 is sooo harsh on the road, who would ride that?'. It was a great, stiff ride.

Are we all supposed to ride a fully suspended MTB / touring bike / with wide tyres for maximum comfort??

You would be the first one to take the piss if he was building a Dutchie bike with Ultegra 6800 11sp! 'It's too comfortable'

  • 2014; the year of scoble

  • Ignore Jaybee - he is old before his time.

  • Anyhow, i'm so excited, apparently the frame is on it's way to my door. Can't wait to start a Planet X carbon Pro 2.0 thread lol.

  • Lol jeez guyz. Y u take lyf so srs

  • are any of those things words?

  • Just trying to prove that I'm not old, Dan.

In all seriousness, I hope you have fun with your bike badman. Did you decide what to do regarding one vs two brakes and the lack of a rear drilled bridge? (Sorry if I'm getting you confused with someone else who had this conundrum)

  • It's here! badmanlongtime get on with it so I can see how it's done by a pro!

  • I have one of these frames - can't really think of a way that you could drill one for a rear brake.

  • Have fun with the toe overlap. Yesterday I almost stacked it pulling away from the traffic light, had to unclip real quick and step down.

  • I was waiting for the haters to come out of the woodwork lol

  • Not sure where did you see hate in what I said typed.
