cheers for the heads up. my cranks are ok - trusty gusset hunters - it's the chainring that appears to be giving the most gyp. it's giving up the ghost where it interfaces with the spindle. you'd expect better from profile.

Profile's are light and look good but I have been forever having problems with them coming loose (so has as a friend). I have tried different spacer arrangements, new bolts (bloody everything even loctite) I wouldn't recommend them personally but if anyone has any advice that would be great!
Ps. Pfix 48spline cranks are surprisingly good if you can get hold of them separately.

I use BSD substance mid BB, leader saviour cranks and proper team sprocket 25t, have had no issues and thoroughly recommend leader saviours!
