Drop to closest police station now. Statistically the owner won't be 'on here' so they will probably head to the local cop shop

Hard to know where 'local' cop shop is though as I can't know where they were coming from or going. And they won't know where they lost their keys. No point dropping at cop shop where I am. I'll drop central tomorrow as most likely they will have been coming from W1. Unless anyone thinks there's a better idea?

How do you know its a Barclays bike fob, is it an RSA key? I used to work for them and have contacts, if you pm me serial I could help find owner

It's not a digital RSA key if that's what you mean. It's the standard blue rectangular Barclays fob. There's an id number on the back with a barcode. That any good to you?

Can you contact Barclay Bike Hire directly?
They will know who the fob belongs to from their database. They probably will not divulge the name/address (data protection blah, blah, blah) but may be able to put the owner in touch with you.

... who will do fuckall with it!

Yeah but I figure whoever lost them is more likely to check police stations than on LFGSS...

Barclays have ID'd the rider from the number on the card, and cross referenced with journeys made yesterday and where I found the keys. They are contacting him to let him know he can collect from the police station. All good.
Found a set of keys in the road coming up Theobalds Rd, just past Holborn, headed East from Oxford St. There's a key ring and Barclays Bike fob attached.
Look like house keys. Anyone lost any or know anyone who has?
Any way I can trace owner from ID number on Barclays fob?
Will drop to cops tomorrow if no takers.
Ta.
