Eddy Merckxx disc wheel

Hi!

I found this Eddy Merckx disc wheel last week.
I couldn't find any info about it so maybe you guys got some more info for me? The condition is a bitt poor but i think it still looks cool...
It can be used for track and with a casette.
It's now set up for track and the axle is also a strange screw in mechanism i've never seen before...

try researching any disc wheels with a similar internal structure, previous owner may have just stuck some eddy stickers on there to match his bike or w/e

How is the cog attachment different to most, care to show a picture?

The cog attachment isn't really different then other older disc wheels i think, check the photo...

and the screw on cassette side

Also took photo's of the screw-in axle system (never seen this before)

You screw them in the wheel to tighten the wheel on to the frame

I'm not planning to keep the wheel by the way so it's kind of for sale...

Also yeah, axle being internally threaded used to be pretty common on rear DH wheels / dirt jump bikes before the bolt through rear axle standard came in. So can see the link with track.

If you have to kick back that hard you're gonna crash anyway or the guy behind is going to rear end you. A lockring also slows down gear changes
