People are frightened of these bikes.
Silly really. World Cyclocross Champions many times over but people think every one if these frames will break.

Probably no less frequently (proportionately) than brazed lugs ...but that is what makes them special. Given that they were screwed and glued, less likely to catastrophic failure than--dare I say it--carbon!
I like these frames a lot as the anodizing produces some stunning colours.
Don't much like the decals though!!!

i prefer the Vitus ones especially the 992 in purple. so good.

I have a blue 992 with full dura ace. Stunning.
I agree. The needle bearing headset is a joy. Bought it new in '92 and commuted daily with a 35 mile round trip.
