As regards investments, no they are not.
Every single one of my Omega and Heuer watches would now in theory sell at more than I paid. Sometimes a lot more, but this is to some extent down to buying at very good prices in the first place. However, in order to keep them in decent condition and achieve a top resale price I'd have to fork out so much in servicing over the years that it would probably wipe out my profit.
And anyway I bought them because I wanted them, so I'd never sell any of them.
