I find it mental that people still believe in absolute beauty, as in the idea that some things are inherently ugly and others are inherently beautiful. It's all about association. I get that the Roberts looks a bit ungainly, but in its day that was a hot look for mountain bikes. No one would say they should still be built like that, but they evidently have an appeal. It's a lot to do with nostalgia. You just don't get it because it's outside of your frame of reference. Whatever, move on.
What's getting thin are the constant attempts to sanitise this thread. Fuck off! If I like something enough to think to post it here then I will, and you can all suck my dick if it doesn't meet your criteria. There are sooo many reasons why bikes (or ANY other objects at all for that matter) can be 'porn', aesthetically-speaking. It's not just about correctness or objective beauty. Also, FFS, get a life, it's a thread on the internet for pictures of pushbikes.
