Re- sizing, I would feel that they overstate the race-fit of the PT stuff, and the PTJ is certainly pretty stretchy so unless you're borderline between two sizes, I'd definitely go for your normal size.
I don't have the softshell, but I would think with layering the PTJ would be far more versatile - and really for LS, just get some nice armwarmers?
