All of my bikes together probably cost this much so I'm understandably apprehensive about dropping 2 grand on a push bike, plus i've never bought a brand new bike before. Plus the paint job is a bit shit.
For a crabon race bike I would only buy new. Frame warranty / amnestying is important, and CSG will only honor them on the original buyer.
The 2 strikes me as a better build than the 3, so no idea why it's cheaper. There's little I'd change on the 2.
I'd try and compare stack and reach against another bike that you know fits. As before, the F29s are XC race machines that will put you in an aggressive position & the Lefty OPI stems can be changed but it's pricey to do so compared to normal ahead setups - it's not a bike that's easy to make fit if the frame size is out.
£1999 for that bike seems like a great price. For what it's worth, hybrid leftys retail around the £900 mark and CSG will charge you a fortune for the frame. Wheels, group and finishing kit are essentially free.
