Hello! Long time lurker & I've never posted in current projects, so here goes. Seems to be a few of these Cannondale 2.8s around the forum recently & threads like the one below have me all inspired:

I've had this 2.8 for about a year, its been my everyday bike as a courier and winter road steed but it needs a bunch of drivetrain bits & a headset after the winter and fully re-cabling so thought i might as well give it a bit of love at the same time.
I picked the frame up for around £20 and with the added bonus of having no dents or cracks.. it had been poorly rattle canned previously so I have no issue with stripping the old paint. Along with this i don't want to throw a lot of cash at it as i have other bikes for that & this will likely still be an everyday ride
I get along well with the components setup right now, i may re-think the bars/stem combo somewhat but for the meantime I'm going to stick with the 105 group and clean it all up nicely as it works for me right now..

Im thinking slightly more pink as I heard real men ride pink bikes, 2.8 decals in white are on the way
