Quick question... How do you calculate target average power for a 25mileTT based on a 10mileTT?
I ask because I've only been using power for a few months and since coming back from the US my 20min peak power has seen a huge jump. To date I've still been pacing off feel but tomorrow is supposed to be my first race looking at my power meter and my coach has gone mysteriously AWOL without giving me any guidance as to what numbers I should be aiming for.
Is the Critical Power Curve on Golden Cheetah a good predictor? My 20min peak power from Wednesday's TT was 286W and so my predicted c.60min peak power should be around 284W?
284W sounds pretty uncomfortable... Maybe I'd be better off aiming for 275 until the turn an then seeing if I can push on in the second half?
