after more than a week of waiting for the straps to arrive, and long hours at work, I decided to take the V12s off my commuter and get out on the road.
Went for a 30km ride, with a backpack carrying some tools (just in case) and a camera.
first impressions...super smooth, super quiet and such a good fit...48/17 takes a bit to get going but definitely cruises nice...ok so I only did 30kms, but in 68 mins, including general red lights and such, hit a top speed of 54kms.
brand new Re-fuse on the back got a deep cut...must have been some shrapnel on the road, will keep an eye on it.
I know the MTB flats are an abomination on this frame, but I had to get a ride in today.
