I don't think the front derailleur is indexed, as long there is enough cable to pull, a normal ergolever will work... But it's better to see if some expert will confirm :)

Couldn't spot the listing you mentioned, but there's no such thing as 2x8 or 3x8 Ergos - all the L/H ones micro-index, so there's a dozen or more clicks on the ratchet and they'll shift double or triple quite happily.
When you say your current shifters are worn out though, have you thought about rebuilding them? Pretty sure the indexing springs are still available - and cheap.

I thought about it, but I heard these things are pretty complicated inside. I don't want to break more then there already is.
But as you seem experienced, maybe you could point me to some online manuals or tutorials on how to fix them? These are the ones that I have.

I have some fully functional 8sp Chorus Carbon shifters I don't need if you don't want to go down the eBay route. Bit scuffed, but shift lovely

It'll work fine.. I have made the same switch (though ditched the triple very quickly) and it works perfectly

Self-servicing of these units is not too much of a problem - Campagnolo have video that applies to more recent models on their website & YouTube channel - the internals, whilst not identical, are very similar, so if you have good enough mechanical skills to want to delve inside, using the videos even just as a reference for these early version levers should work for you ...
If you need parts, we hold stock.
If you need advice, we'll do our best to help.
As an alternative, if you are not all that confident with the allen keys , send them to us and we can service them for you, no problem.
Turnaround is about 4 wd at present. The info above with regard to double and triple compatibility is not strictly accurate - on newer ErgoPower Shifters, there are distinctions between "double" and "triple" but they don't apply to shifters of the same vintage as yours.

Thanks to all. I'll look at some videos online and then decide weather I try to repair them myself or buy some new ones.
So I'm looking to replace my Campagnolo C Record Ergo Shifters as they are pretty worn out.
I have them setup to shift a triple crank in the front and eight gears on the rear wheel.
I found some Chorus Ergos on Ebay and they are described to shift 2 x 8. Can I setup the left one to shift the triple crank in the front or do I need another pair of shifters?
Appreciate any help!
