I saw these... I can only change 1st claim club once per calendar year and I have to ride for my nominated 1st claim club in open TTs. I don't expect either of these to be a problem as the only race I was hoping to represent the university CC in was BUCS this weekend and I didn't get selected.
Among other things, racing for the town club helps support the one of the clubs that organises the local evening TTs, gives me a preferential entry in evening TTs if they get busy and makes me eligible for the local league. Also I'm supposed to finish my PhD by september so I'll need to change clubs sooner or later anyway. I just didn't want to waste a good skinsuit.
