Are there any regulations in the rulebook about the relationships between 1st and 2nd claim clubs? I looked but couldn't see anything.
Specifically I've been a member of my university cycling club for the last 3 years and also a 2nd claim member of one of the local "town" clubs which allows me slightly discounted entry at the evening club TTs. It is becoming increasingly apparent that I'd get greater benefits with the local club rather than the university and so I'm thinking of upgrading my membership with the local club to 1st claim and then racing under their name. The only thing that annoys me is that I've just taken delivery of a new university skin suit - are there any rules (aside from etiquette) that bar me from wearing the university skin suit while racing for a different club? I read the clothing rules but since I'll technically still be a member of the university club it wasn't entirely clear.
Obviously I'll order a new "town" skin suit next season but is there anything stopping me using the wrong one this season?
