  • The vigorelli is coke-can thin there. Maybe the Mash is thicker, is that holding up ok?

would also like to know as I was considering having this done to my vig.

  • mine was cheaper

    +1

On a steel frame you'd braze on bosses and all is good. With alloy I honestly don't know. It's nice of Tim(?) to test it for us all. ;-)

Hmmm, I'd like it done but I think I'll wait until I've found some evidence that it wont ruin my frame, Vigs are pretty thin walled.

  • the mash and the vig are made of the same tubing and the DT is the same profile i doubt they are much different?

  • I've never compared mine to a mash so I wasnt sure.

Who's is that up there? ^^^^^^^^^^^^

  • massive thanks to kinoko and their staff this saturday gone, bobby in particular was amazingly helpful.

went in there after nitto risers snapping mid ride. turns out there was a product recall on them and kinoko said they could replace them there and then.
chopped the bars down, fitted the same grips all in quick time.. really nice staff, great advice and service.

    thanks a lot guys.

  • They're good guys.

  • not a hard fix

Is the only thing they did here drilling and making thread (don't know how to call it in English). I'm concidering to do the same thing with my Mielec.

  • you could either tap the thread

    or use rivnuts

  • You could most definitely not tap the thread

  • yeah, wasn't sure how thick the tubing was on a Mielec? Rivnuts should work.

  • I'm gonna speak to my frame building buddy about the rivnut option.

  • That MASH hasn't broken yet

  • Gotta get me one of those £20 Brooks Cambiums...

  • I would insert a gif of a slow clap here but I can't be bothered

  • Btw, as I'm leaving London very soon the shop is looking to hire ASAP. A good knowledge of high end road bikes and the confidence/experience to talk about custom builds would be needed. Someone who is passionate about new brands and good cycle clothing and has the willingness to learn about tech, etc. Drop your CV into store or apply online.

  • Already send mail last night, cheer jess.

  • Some kind of parade?

  • Gumball 3000

  • Those guys are tossers.

  • Thought it was the motorist equivalent of a gay parade.

  • They've got cheap cars.

Nothing like the average evening in Jumeirah.

  • I wouldn't mind getting paid to tour Europe in a Veyron to be fair.
