Can someone remind me why we don't celebrate this?
OBVIOUSLY it's an archaic tradition based on a spurious myth and inseparable from religious dogma and the xenophobia that comes with that, but no more so than our other public holidays, plus I'd really like to see it (and the associated flag) reclaimed by the masses and taken out of the oily palms of Farage and his ilk...
