Dolan Pre Cursa / PreCursa / Track Champion

The last thing i'll do is sell my frame atm tbh. Infact I'm slowly shedding all my bikes and building a new stable, the only bike being spared is the Track Champ.

Is it worth waiting and spending more on the track champ or am I going to get a very similar ride from the precursa? on the off chance that anyone has ridden both?

its pretty much the same. but i dont like the up-sloping top tube of pre cursa

Apart from being stiffer i don't think the track champion has any real benefits over the pre cursa, oh and looks like you can slam a 28c which you can't on a pc, i think they both weigh the same to, the rest is just aesthetics.

Friend of mine really needs a 56cm PC, if new he wants white, if any one sees them in stock or any for sale, can you let me know? thanks :)

My Dolan got a new paint coat :) a little rough but I'm happy with it. Ran out of paint so have to get a bit more and retouch some parts.

track champions are a lot lighter

paint looks great on that pre cursa! What prep did you do to the frame and fork?

Sanded down the original clear coat and was careful not to touch the carbon on the fork. Then quite many layers of white primer and green paint + clear coat.

54cm for both is stated as 1.78kg by Dolan themselves.
I've weighed a TC 54cm and it came to 1.75kg. I now own a 54cm PC and it comes in at 1.80kg. "..a lot less" it sure ain't.

I know a few people with track champs and even with a really light saddle/post, bars/stem and full carbon forks, my pre cursa is still heavier.

yeah ive seen that on dolans site. gotta be wrong mate. sounds daft but theres no way they weigh the same.
