Clearcoat 'dales sometimes get unsightly oxidisation under the clearcoat. This was particularly bad on the Six13 and SystemSix frames where the carbon met the aluminium, where you'd get galvanic corrosion, too, to the point where 'dale were doing frame amnesty.
Generally if it's just on the alu then it's not a big deal, but if it's around the carbon / alu then you might start asking questions about the integrity of the frame.
