Bluemels Chromed steel mudguards
Some surface rust but not eaten through, have rubbed most of it off, the rear is a screw fitting to the frame and underside of the brake bridge though SJS do a kit or even just an L shaped bit of metal would suffice to attach it in the normal way. £7 collected, £12 postedAre these suitable for 27" wheels?

Are these suitable for 27" wheels?
Yes, they came came off a 60s club bike that ran with 27" Van Schothorst rims. Still have the rear in fact that has a Sturmey archer screw on hub :o)

Still waiting to actually be able to RIDE my bike...rear wheel has packed in so more delays.
Will it fit a 25.4 handlebar for sure?
As I have a steerer shim (the steerer is 1inch) but not a bar shim which are another £8...
-
• #20
what it states on the box is 1"-1 1/8" 90mm, the instruction leaflet only mentions the torque levels.
So the 1" could be referring to the bar diameter and certainly without a shim the steerer is 1& 1/8.
However I've just fitted it to an old chromed steel bar (very smooth surface) and I can perceive no gaps(I've shone a torch & not a chink)
I have fitted a 26mm stem to an older bar before & it wasn't an issue.
Also I'm an ex rugby league forward and I'm pretty strong (and heavy..lol) and there is no way that I can twist the bars.
It's up to you what you feel you're comfortable with. -
