seems like you have an integrated head tube so you could maybe get away with zero stack headset and some other stem? I am also currently building my first proper track frame after two conversions.. Not sure how the shamals will look on this frame, I went for a cheap and practical solution with Mavic A119 laced with sapim spokes to Planet x track hubs - all in around 120 € (still need to build them).

i have not bought the headset yet, thats why i am worrying about the length of the steerer.
i did think about how the shamals will look on this frame..i know it doesn't quite fit....i don't know...should i keep them? its shamal!! -

You don't need a zero stack. Integrated will be more than fine .
What's your steerer length? Looks like you've got a 54cm. It's hardly the longest headtube.
Desticker shamals. Run Shamals. Done! -

IMHO the shamals could work if you sliver out the whole build.. I am also very unsure of the rules regarding mixing silver and black components - seems like there is cases where seatpost or stem or chainring just give the perfect balance (very personal opinion though). Also, I think it is important you put in on the streets first, and then decide on
matching the components aesthetically, fine tune the position etc... -

no tyre in this photo
I came from Hong Kong to study in the UK. Three years ago, I started riding fixed gear back in Hong Kong and i fell in love with it. Then I came back to UK but I had no bike, I just wanted to ride, so I decided to buy a beater fixie to get rolling. So it is a Raleigh Sirocco racing bike conversion

This is the photo of the original bike.

In three years, I made many of my friends riding fixed gear and they got really nice bikes, and I still got this ratty rusty beater.
The stuff that i am not happy about the frame is that:

so after all these years, i decided to change to aluminium track frame, the Dolan Pre Cursa.
Two weeks ago, I was surfing the net to hunt for some track frames, i was on dolan website and realise the pre cursa was just £99.9 (frame only) but out of stock saying that available from may, i was like, okay i will wait, until a week ago, i went back to the website, and magically 54cm 56cm and 60cm frames were back in stock, i ordered it straightaway.
I have chosen the frame only because about two days ago i managed to buy a pair of focus cayo carbon forks, so i thought it will be fine.

no headset, (i think my fork steerer is too short, shit)
after that i started getting different parts for my new build
I bought a pair of chrome Campagnolo Shamal 16-HPW (not brilliant but usable condition, sadly no decal, roadie rear hub) from this forum for £160 , i asked a friend if that a good deal, he said it was a very nice deal, i then bought them, planning to re-lace the rear to a Miche Primato 32H large flange hub (but money doesnt allow me to do that now)
beaten up stem £5
