My first proper thread on here so please be gentle... Got this lovely cannondale capo from carbonsinglespeed last week after spotting it while having my 0600 pre dog walk coffee, turns out we both wear kilts and sport ginger hair and freckles so maybe it was meant to be... Frame is bare metal lacquered finish and in pretty good nic so no work required there. An undercoated carbon fork was supplied so plan is to have that painted as it sports considerably less timber than its OG alu counterpart. Had planned on utilising some bits n bobs I seemed to have been inadvertently collecting for this build and just seen where I ended up, then I stumbled across jambons thread, don't intend on simply ripping off his finished article but hey, it looks good... Am fairly set on the silver and black colour scheme and like the look of the black omniums but would happily buck the trend if anyone can advise on similar priced black cranks?? Got a set of high flange polished super record hubs laced to cxp 33s, any advice on a screw on s/s freewheel, anything between £20 for a dx and £75 for an eno? Anyway, please expect crap upside down photos, weeks between posts and every unwritten rule of cool on here to be broken, but hey, least im contributing now and not just scrolling the classified section..
