Tourney: Newmarket, lads on tour...nament june 14/15th

Might struggle with that date because of demolition work on the site but I'll try.
I'm thinking of a few other things for the tournament. Anyone be up for a fairground type polo area? Tell me if it's a shit idea, but I'm thinking games like shooting at coconuts or shuffling into a target for sweet polo prizes?

Fairground sounds awesome, would it be complete with a bunch of dirty, bearded guys wearing flannel and smoking rollies doing all the rides?

I've gone for the 13th till the 15th of June. Please tell me if I've clashed with anything I haven't seen?

In keeping with a super fun theme for this tournament please throw any ideas out there that you've got. So far chatting with people has given me a shitload of ideas, the ones that have stood out and I'm trying to arrange at this tournament are.....

Bike polo themed circus games for a small cost with prizes.
Setting up a grass bike polo throw in pitch inc mallets and proper ball (fuck yeh!)
Polo drag races, quickest weekend time wins a prize.
Knife fight court
5 a side football

Drinking games.

Will the format of the tournament be standard? i.e. NAH rules, double elim etc...

I ask because personally I really like the idea of having fun side events but would also see this as a great opportunity for the UK to prepare for the Euros (2 weeks later).

Yeh dude, the tournament will still be standard format. However, what will change, will be who wins prizes. Gonna try and avoid the 1st 2nd 3rd + MVP, and reward more of the underdogs. Obviously there'll be prizes for top three and MVP, but id like to spread the bulk of prizes out a little more.
