1947 Hobbs of Barbican racer. The one and current owners uncle was a professional racer and acquired the bike for Ray. He believes it is pre 46 however the markings read h471200.
Complete bike bar seat /chain / tyres.
Original 1947 paint. Reynolds hiduminium Alloy bars. Sturmey Archer 3 speed rim but I believe can be turned round for single speed. x2 Bayliss Wiley & co rims. Burlite of Birmingham front & rear brakes. Williams crank arm. Philips pedals, Lytaloy handlebar stem. Lucifer dynamo front & rear lights made in Switzerland. Just found an extra front brake, original seat post but no seat and missing front brake lever.
The frame, forks, crank wheel etc appear to be in perfect condition. There is a missing spoke on one of the four rims but perhaps an overhaul of these may be prudent? There is also a crack to the seat post clamp. I may be able to get this repaired?
    Buy it now price?
    Cleaned up?
    Restored?
Any advice would be great. It is his 84 year old wish that the quality is respected and once again rode through the streets of London town
