Anyone in here know of good portrait and wide angle lenses for the pentax system?
I used the Pentax-M 28mm f/3.5 for a while now, and I love it!
Haven't used the other Pentax-M wide angles side by side with this one though.
Check ratings on Pentax Forum (but I recommend reading all the reviews for a lens as well),
some few people have no clue and give a bad rating which bends the overall rating unaturally.
Portrait wise I only ever used the 135mm f/3.5.
It's not superb, but it's built very very nice, basically like all Pentax-M lenses,
bokeh is not superb but very nice, same goes for sharpness.
Focussing is smooth BUT if you want to have sharp results at 3.5 you really have to look very very closely (split image).
Even with the ME's nice, big, bright finder it's not that easy to nail focus with this lens quickly.
