Rear wheel and frame have gone.
I will bin the stem and front hub if I don't hear anything by the end of the weekend.
56 cm, 2007 Langster frame
Read this bit first:
I recently crashed this bike pretty hard (front mudguard stay detached from the guard, jammed under the fork crown and locked the front wheel at pace). The steerer-crown joint of the fork bent either as a result of the lock or in the crash (image below), the head tube may be slightly ovalised (looks fine by eye) and while there are no cracks obvious in the frame it has clearly had a fair impact. I don't want to ride a bike I nearly died on.
56cm, poo brown in colour, plenty of paint scratches, chips and grazes (daily commute bike for 5 years), no dents. The rear dropout inserts have been fairly chewed by the wheel, but are replaceable through Specialized dealers. BB is fine but not in great condition. Could do with a clean.
Fixed/free Rear wheel
Rear wheel from the Langster. Slightly out of true (couple of mm radial and lateral), the hub isnt great - choice of smooth but loose or rough but tight. Could probably do with a service by now. 16T 1/8" sprocket on the wheel and a rusty, slightly siezed, freewheel on the other side. Could do with a clean.
Front hub
The matching front hub to the rear. 32h, similar condition. Still laced to the front rim, but the rim was pierced/crushed by the mudguard stay jamming under the crown both sides. Could do with a clean.
100mm Easton EA50 stem
Overtightened by the guy I bought the bike from but has worked fine for me for a number of years and survived the crash without slipping or moving. The bars attached bent. Face plate has been overtightened and is slightly bent, one of the threads on the steerer is partially stripped (don't think it will hold 10-15Nm) the other is fine.
Might be more coming shortly!
