Such a tragedy. He was out for a group ride with his mates apparently. It's a notorious staggered crossing across the A420 which is a dual carriageway here. We use it occasionally on club rides, you have to careful judging the speed of motorists here who will often hugely exceed the speed limit (100mph is not uncommon). I'm not judging the cause of this collision though until we know the full details.
