heavy though. Road Morph / turbo morph is ment to be good. Not what MrSmith is looking ofr I know as I think it would be a bit big for back poket use but could be straped to bike. Just under 13 cm for the turbo so still pritty small http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=2909, and 26 cm for the road http://www.cyclesportsuk.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3935 .

After an inflator for longer TT.
Does anyone have any ballpark figures for inflation capacity for a given cartridge, ie 16g cart = 23mm to 100psi?
It would be quicker to just whack a full cart in, rather than having to "squirt and squeeze" and guessing the pressure.
Basic inflators are also cheaper (and lighter) than those with triggers.
Anything else to consider?

I have a Topeak CO2bra and really like it. It was the only one I could find that had an On/Off lever rather than just On. It's not the smallest, but comes with it's own seatpost mount which also holds a pair of tyre levers, a spare cartridge and an emergency inner tube. It even has it's own little waterproof cover, although I'm sure it's just to make it look neater rather than keeping it dry.

What do you get out of a cart? One cart, one tube? Road or MTB?

I was under the impression a 12g cartridge would give you just over 100 psi in a 23/25mm tyre

Sounds about right.
I've looked at a couple of vids and the inflators have to be screwed on to the valve: can you get "push fit" inflators?

You can, I couldn't tell you which ones exactly but I'm sure doing a google search will.

I have one which uses screw on cartridges, but you just push it onto the valve and they fully inflate hard in less than 1 second,, awesome bit of kit, but only buy online as they are much cheaper. I wouldn't be without one now,, easily get 100 psi plus,, 12gram is not correct for a road tyre, you need 16g

Sorry, I wasn't clear: by "screw on", I meant onto the inner tube valve and not the cartridge valve.
What size tyres are you using and at what pressure?

Are the basic CO2 cartridges on ebay OK or need I go for a branded version?

I always buy the eBay ones, dirt cheap and work perfect. Just make sure you select threaded or unthreaded depending on what you need!
i hear really good things about those, i want one.
