UK Champs - Bristol - 5-6 April

On a side note I noticed that podium hasn't ranked teams for Sunday. It could be because Channel No5 and Polo Sabor is missing a score???

It was so much fun to be back at the UK champs! So many great people, beards, bikes, goals, games. Mondial played a really controlled game and were rarely ever out of position; Peregrines were really fun to watch with Cam's ridiculous shots and Goldenwheel riding like a very skilled lunatic. I really thought it was heading for a second final, but then what a comeback to level it, and then a brutally clinical golden goal from Emmet after the re-set. Good luck to all of you at the Euros, especially to Fin, Tim and Jim who as a new team played some really slick and flowing polo, great to watch, and with some scooping tricks thrown in for good measure.

Thanks to Bristol for hosting a great tourney in less than ideal weather. I'll be back down for some throw-ins in the near future. And a big thank you to Nik and Hayden for having me on board as your 3rd, and for putting up with my rustiness and being an old relic. You guys are awesome!

Emmet gave me a stripped mini d with a white milk sticker on it. He thought it was badgers but it's not. Anyone know who it belongs to? I'll bring it to London Cup on Saturday.

About EHBPC,
Now that the champ is over, we are able to say that you will have 6 spots in main tournament and 1 in wildcard. Unfortunately, I don't know what is the detailed ranking without ties. So it is impossible for me to know which team will take the wildcard slot.

There is a qualifier for 2 spots and the wildcard that will be happening in May at Bristol again.

Only four teams will be given spots from the UKC, the other two spots (+ wildcard) will be decided through another qualification tournament in the UK.

We will let the EHBPC organisers know the teams being sent by the UK once we have a full list.

left my helmet w/ mercatone uno cap and Scott gloves in and mallet NS brutus, innertube handle supernova head. would be cool if someone picked them up silly me.

We found so far:

two helmets+cap
two mallets
a pair of gloves

if you can name them, then they are yours..

Rincewind won one of the helmet, the cap and the NS mallett. Sorry the gloves aren't Scott.
