hi, I know it's been a few years now, but I've ended up with that team Raleigh Panasonic 753r frame, broken playing polo, and was wondering whether you still own the matching forks and whether you would sell them to me, if not, maybe you know the owner who may help me out, I'm trying to give it some life it deserves, could be tricky but I like a challenge!

anyone knows the cost of this repair?
-

hi
when i bought the frame it didn't come with forks, the guy i bought them from advertised them on the british cycling classifieds
it may be possible to trace the guy through the ad if it still exits. i will have a look through my e-mails for any communications with him also. -

do you have photos of how it looks now ? post repair ?

dicki, why were you playing polo on a 753 SBDU built raleigh in the first place?
-
• #37
bah i thought this might crop up again ! longish story and quite unlucky also young and foolish and didn't really know any better
i had had my polo bike stolen a week or two before the first ever london open tournament
i rode my bmx and ghost rid my only other bike at the time the 753r to brick lane for the big day
the bmx was deemed not suitable for the tourney so i had to ride the raleigh
1st game 5 mins in and some kent peddlar ( playing by the correct rules of polo ) ( or so they thought, it was actually horse polo rules they were following not hardcourt ghetto polo rules ) came towards me head on, he turned the correct direction accroding to the rules of horse polo i turned also ... head on collision
said kent peddlar landed on the reat stays and the rest as they say is historya bad luck story all round !

Ooh. That's gotta hurt : both parties!
-
• #39
reading that makes the term kent peddlar seem like a great insult.
'got knocked off by a total kent peddlar last week...'
