Cleaning's not something I'd ever trouble myself with, but If you're riding it properly you'll definitely need to maintain it

New shitty bikes are not rats.
Shiny bikes with new expensive parts do not belong in this category. You can ride a porn colnago pista to your pub daily and it still won't fit in this category. Maybe after years of extensive abuse they will. But for now, that gitane and pinarello do not belong here.

Except the title of the thread includes 'Pub Bikes', if you ride it to the pub it is your pub bike no matter no matter his it looks.
