Tho to make the attempt worth your time I would think these days you have to do it on a weekday and at a weird time - traffic and other cyclists at almost any point on a weekend will ruin your time* - unless you have a Hippy-level front light to do it at night.

Do it at night, No lights ftw

around 4am is good this time of year. Watch out for deer though.
