Are you going to stick with a lay back post when you find one, or go for in-line?
I'm not sure, inline would bring the reach down a little but it actually seems manageable as it is.
I've just found a ridiculous bargain brand new EC90 seatpost in the States which would do nicely for about the price of a second hand Thomson - the benefit of an odd seatpost size - so I might go with that.
