Maybe think new saddle before paint?!

These parts are all temporary, the saddle is more comfortable than the droopy old Flite I have been using, but it will get a nicer Flite soon!

Are you going to stick with a lay back post when you find one, or go for in-line?

andypancake: a headtube that short deserves shorter bars. I know others won't agree with my opinion but in my book, if the bottom of the handlebar on an allu frame is at the same level or below the top of the tire it's going straight to anti. I've ridden those bars, they are great (still don't know if I prefer tape on them or not when riding on wood), but combined with that head tube it just doesn't work. The stem also is a bit meh combined with that frame. I'm not feeling it. Could use a more simple round oversized stem instead of a "square" one. Considering the seatpost I would opt for the Deda Superleggero stem. Just my 2cts.

Bar look fine to me, all the keirin bikes will go straight to anti if that's the case.

bla bla bla
The level of BS re. aesthetics on bikes round these parts has got completely fucking stupid lately.
'Should my BB cup be black or silver?'
'what colour grease should I use?'go ride your bikes you twats

Comes to HHSB thread...complains that it's all about form over function.
Where's that patronising "you must be new here" picture when you need it?

I'm not sure, inline would bring the reach down a little but it actually seems manageable as it is.
I've just found a ridiculous bargain brand new EC90 seatpost in the States which would do nicely for about the price of a second hand Thomson - the benefit of an odd seatpost size - so I might go with that.

Tidy Dolan sled out the back of Temple Meads. Before anyone points out the lock, it's a rack next to mechanic's van set up there, so his, or one of his customers.

That's enough of nice bikes anyway.
What colour should I get this painted? I'm thinking pearly white
Liking how this is shaping up.
How's the ride?
Pearly white is nice, I'm thinking of getting mine done sparkly pearly dark purple, grey or black at some point.
If you're going to get it painted, have you considered getting the headtube replaced with a 1 1/8th one? would make getting some alpinas for it much easier... I think you can get it done for a reasonable price...

hehe, ye that makino is kind of a joke build, and obviously very confy. I'd like to have 100mm 0 degree salsa with spotter bars.

From CP
white looks like primer and therefore dull imo. Go fluoro pink + decals in fluoro red + white
